Double happiness

First was that my god son was born on 19 July 07! The day before was Kor's birthday... Kor didnt sleep that night as Eunice is giving birth soon... he mentioned that from future onwards, no one will celebrate or remember his birthday as his baby boy's birthday is just one day away. Haha... Poor kor!

So excited!! I wana carry my god son!!

Second was on 21st July 07. Having together for 9 years, they tied this knot on this special day. My sis had her church wedding in the noon & dinner at Orchard Parade Hotel. It was a tough & busy yet fun day for my sis & her hubby. My sis was really a lucky girl.. she brings lucky to everyone of our family but i'm not gona tell how... haha

Now my sis & her hubby is in Korea for honey moon! Hope they enjoy their trip (I know they are enjoying... hehe) Hopefully i can get to carry my sis's baby soon!!!

Backtrack..

Finally it's time to blog again...

Was so busy with work & life... Everyday repeating same routine (work, go hospital, work @ home, sleep....) until the demised of my father in-law. He left us on 11 July 07, suffered from Lung Cancer. We did not get to see him for the last time. Hubby broke down.. He was filled with grief when he saw his father. His eyes were not closed. He left with worries... Worrying about us...

We went thru a 5 day marathon without eating & sleeping much during the wake. I slimmed down by 3kg during this period! It was really tough to stay up for 25 hours then sleep for 4 hours... Especially the bereavement... We knew he would leave us one day but we still did not face it until today. We still cannot accept the fact. We really need lots & lots of time or maybe years to forget... We missed him so much.. Miss the time when we were at BVH, chatting with each other for more than 4 hours. Our relationship builded up during my father in-law's stay at BVH. We were not in very good terms before.. But not anymore.. Cause he treats me as his own daughter eversince Itook care of him, feed him with medicine, chatted of hours, see him fell asleep... when hubby wasn't around.

Even though he had already left this world, we still feel he is with us... looking at us, smiling at us always...

Nevertheless, a big thank you to all our friends that dropped by the wake & gave us so much support. Especially to my hubby's colleagues, Jes & Jasmine!

To Jasmine baby, thanks for the bread! As promised, I ate it all up :D
